Senior Software Engineer – Axis Device Management SaaS, Lund

Design and build large-scale cloud services used by customers worldwide. Join Axis and help evolve our Device Management SaaS within Axis Cloud Connect (ACC) — a strategically critical platform powering connected security systems globally.

This role offers real technical influence and ownership at scale.

What you’ll do
You will work in an autonomous agile team of 5–6 engineers, building full-stack solutions across edge, cloud, and frontend.

• Design scalable cloud architectures and choose the right services and infrastructure patterns
• Drive technical decisions from design to production
• Build secure, reliable systems (primarily in Go and C#, with some Python)
• Strengthen CI/CD, observability, and operational excellence
• Contribute as a senior technical sparring partner within the team

Who are you?

• A senior engineer comfortable owning architecture and technical direction
• Experienced in distributed systems and cloud-native design
• Pragmatic, collaborative, and motivated by solving complex problems

We’re looking for

• Strong cloud and backend experience
• Linux, Git, Docker, DevOps practices
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Bonus points for experience with:
AWS, Kubernetes, SQL/NoSQL, REST/GraphQL, IoT, cloud networking.
